If You Could Step Into Any Story…

Here’s a little bookish thought experiment for you: If you could step into any story—whether it’s one of mine, or one of your all-time favorites—which world would you choose?

Would you walk through the eerie hallways of a haunted house, where every whisper makes your heart race?

Would you travel to a magical kingdom where old secrets sleep beneath stone castles?

Or maybe you’d prefer a quiet love story in a small town, where the biggest adventure is falling for someone who feels like home.

I often think about this when I write—how books are more than words, they’re doorways. And every time you turn the page, you get to choose whether to peek in or to dive headfirst into that world.

If you could live in a story for just one day, where would you go? And more importantly—would you come back?
